Happy New Year everyone !
I hope and pray that everyone is doing well.

Thank you for joining the 1 year bible study group for 2011. This year, since we have a diverse group on different spiritual levels … So I would like us to focus on Jesus, and His plan of salvation. Jesus and the plan of salvation can be found in every book of the bible, and we are going to try and identify these aspects as we read the whole bible this year. We will also be cross referencing the old and new testament whenever possible. Please feel free to ask any questions, or answer them as they came. ( Please send me your email and i will post it to the group )Some questions that will arise will be answered by scripture in the future. When these kinds of questions come, I will not answer them then unless they are dealing with Jesus or our salvation. I will however mention that the answer is available in the future. (then you have to keep reading to find the answer)

We will have a feedback page every week. If you have any comments, or questions, please send me an email, and I will post it to the group. I will also be posting bible notes for the current week.

I do want to state that I don’t know everything, and when I don’t have an answer, we will research the answers, while keeping in mind that some things are a mystery: after all, we are taking about God!

I do hope that all people will participate with their opinions, comments and questions. You don’t have to participate every week, but I would appreciate an email / call once in a while to know that you are still with us. If you know the answer ( from scripture) or if I leave something out, please point it out and we will post it. We are here to learn from one another.

If you want your comments, questions, opinions posted, please send them in by Saturday 12 PM.( Pacific time ) If you are in a different continent, please email me the Friday before the end of the week Otherwise, they will be posted the following week. Also please try and read the passages at the same time each day so that you can build a “habit”.

Please follow the top links to download the bible readings and notes. You can download whatever format that you are comfortable with. You don’t need to download both formats unless you want to… both formats are identical.. One format is in Microsoft word documents. The other is a plain web page that you can print from your browser, or save on your computer. You can either download one day’s reading at a time, or you can download all the files for that month in a zip. If you download the files in the zip, you will need a zip program to unzip the files. I am so excited and I hope that you are too. It is my prayer that as we start this journey, you will come to know the true God of Abraham, His awesome love for us, and His master piece on salvation . I pray also that you will follow and stay with the group, for it is my opinion that one can never really understand the new testament, unless you study the old….
